Margot : En général, l'infection survient après la contamination d'une plaie par un coktail de bactéries. Le patient ressent d'abord une douleur disproportionnée par rapport à l'aspect de sa plaie. Puis, la peau devient rouge, enflée, brillante. Enfin, des bulles apparaissent, laissant, rapidement place à une hémorragie. L'anesthésie de la zone marque le dernier stade, celui de la mort des tissus. Mais ce cas est assez rare, heureusement.
