Résumé, après l'évasion explosive d'Aymeric et de Thomas...
Chacun avait reprit sa petite vie, chacun de son côté. Par sécurité Thomas avait réalisé un rituel pour que l'explosion du commissariat ne soit pas diffusé médiatiquement et surtout qu'il soit oublié dans les esprits français. Concernant les familles des victimes, Thomas avait lancé un sort d'amnésie générale, pour qu'ils oublient définitivement leurs proches décédés comme s'ils n'avaient jamais existé. Et il avait également réalisé un rituel pour qu'un Casino soit construit pour remplacer le commissariat et ainsi nourrir les entités du bas astral, lorsque les joueurs perdraient de l'argent.
Le meurtre de Sabrina commis par Aymeric dans sa cave avait été annoncé à la télévision française et avait fait le tour du monde. Lorsque Josie apprit la nouvelle, elle tenta de s'enfuir, mais son petit ami, la rattrapa et tenta de la rassurer, en lui disant que c'était la voix dans sa tête qui lui avait dit, de sequestrer Sabrina et de la tuer.
